Custom Christmas ornaments

This was a fairly quick project for me. A few months ago With the holidays approaching I wanted to come up with gifts for family and friends. I'd been doing a bunch of 3d modeling and design work and decided to make a simple yet custom Christmas ornament. The design was done using Fusion360, and the ornaments were 3d printed in 6061 aluminum, as well as nylon. I was very pleasantly surprised at the weight of the aluminum ornaments, they felt incredibly robust, while also not being too heavy to for a normal Christmas tree branch.

For such a simple project, I'm really happy how these turned out. And my family loved them. There were plenty of questions about metal 3d printing, and how I designed them. And given the construction, its clear these will be around for a very long time.
